English speakers use a lot of acronyms, especially when we talk about technology. We know what the vocabulary words mean, but we often don’t know what the acronyms actually stand for.
Acronyms are words that are made up of the first letter of other words. For example, ASAP is an abbreviation of ‘as soon as possible’. Another example is FYI, which means ‘for your information’. Can you guess what words the following acronyms stand for?
