Sometimes, when we tell a story about the past, we use what is called the narrative present. We speak as though the action were occurring in the present, make the story feel more dramatic and immediate. In this case, a couple of friends are talking, and one of them uses the narrative present to tell her friend about her terrible vacation. She decides to use passive voice as well. Can you add the verb to be and the past participle to complete her passive sentences?
Friend One: I saw your family’s photos of your trip on Instagram. It looks like you guys had a wonderful time!
