1.) Review the vocabulary.
2.) Write a Past Simple sentence with one of the options.
3.) Pass the paper to the next person.
3.) Challenge each other to rewrite the sentence. Some challenges you can offer:
Make it negative.
Make it a question.
Add two adjectives.
Add an adverb.
Make the sentence about a monkey.
For higher levels:
Write the sentence in Past Continuous.
Write the sentence in Present Perfect with the word ‘since’.
Write the sentence in Past Perfect with the word ‘before’.
