HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Halloween is a celebration of the end of a cycle. Spring, Summer and Fall will come again, but now, Winter is upon us. All around us, plants die and the forest settles in for a long, deep sleep.
We think of those who are gone, but still among us in our memory. We hunker down, knowing we have saved enough stores to get us through. The coming cold is hard, but we are harder. We celebrate because we can, and we mock those who think otherwise!
Happy Halloween, my friends. May your dead be remembered fondly, and your winter stores overflow. May you face your darkest fears with courage and integrity, and may your resilience sustain you in hard times.
